Homeless man escapes three alarm fire in Dallas with help of the police.

A police officer patrolling south Dallas spotted smoke coming from the vacant two-story building in the 4600 block of Malcom X Boulevard. A homeless man inside the “boarded up” building escaped with help from the officer. Dallas Fire and Rescue fought the fire with the assignment of three alarms.
“Although the windows and the doors were all boarded up, the officer heard someone shouting for help from the inside. After calling for backup help, the officer began prying off the boards on one window.”
Local news sources state there were no reported injuries.
