Smoke in the area…

Denver firefighters were dispatched at almost 0200 hours for a call of smoke in the area of Downing Street and Speer Boulevard (chimney fire, right? maybe a furnace). While driving around the area and checking the alleys smoke and a faint glow were noticed coming from 300 Downing Street.

More from 9News, "Firefighters pull unconscious man from burning home".

After making entry firefighters located an unconscious adult male in a rear bedroom. Immediately removed and with CPR started the occupant was taken to the hospital. A fire department spokesman says that it took firefighters 15 minutes to extinguish the fire. There is no update on the occupant’s condition at this time.
