First Due Blog

The First Due Blog Carnival is a electronic open forum, if you will, for public conversation or debate. If you’re not exactly sure what that means think of it as a fire service version of ABC’s ‘This Week.’ Fire service events or popular subjects are discussed and I play George Will.

First Due is the creation of Rhett Fleitz of Fire Critic, who borrowed the idea from a similar EMS roundtable. The bloggers listed are contributing to and hosting the various editions. The method is simple; one of the host bloggers creates the subject matter and deadline. Contributor bloggers, and others, post their replies to the subject and on the deadline all replies are published and discussed. Read more on submissions.
